In its ninth edition (October 22–November 2, 2014), ACAW added several notable art spaces and galleries based in Asia to its already impressive Consortium. Capitalizing on the synergy of citywide exhibitions organized by ACAW’s Consortium member museums and galleries in New York, ACAW introduced FIELD MEETING, a two-day forum conceived as a studio visit on a collective scale. Hosted at Asia Society Museum, FIELD MEETING brought over 40 artist, curators and institutional leaders based in Asia and beyond to present their works and initiatives through lecture-performances, talks and discussions to an exclusive audience of arts professionals, curators, and museum directors from around the US.
