ACAW is delighted to announce that Curagenda, a leader in high-end travel experiences for the global art world, is designing a seven-day, tailor-made itinerary to explore the arts, heritage and culture in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Expect to be immersed in an insightful journey of art, architecture, culture, gastronomy, and history that makes the Middle East such a vibrant and unique destination.
This unforgettable insider’s journey kicks off with ACAW’s signature forum, FIELD MEETING Take 6: Thinking Collections, at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai. Accompanied by FIELD MEETING Curator Leeza Ahmady, Curagenda gives guests the opportunity to explore 35+ newly commissioned performances, lecture-performances, curatorial talks, and a string of pop-ups, alongside access to Alserkal Avenue’s larger Quoz Arts Festival.
While in Dubai, get an intimate look inside top art collectors’ homes to gain insight into their collecting visions. Also, visit the studios of established artists with exclusive behind-the-scenes tours by galleries such as Third Line Gallery. Cyril Zammit, Founder of Dubai Design Days and Dubai Design Week, will lead a private tour through the thriving Design District followed by lunch and other refreshments.
The journey continues as guests venture into an archeological site, a preserved historical city and a desert experience with local native experts, followed by an excursion to Sharjah. Curagenda will later provide privileged access to Abu Dhabi through a special welcoming from the Department of Tourism and Culture. While in this bustling capital of the UAE, guests will enjoy a fully curated experience of the city including an exclusive private tour of the Louvre Abu Dhabi led by a Curator and the museum team. Soon after, guests will have a chance to mingle with the Abu Dhabi Art team over an exclusive meal and gathering hosted by the fair.
